The Thomas Company was founded by Dale S. Thomas and Thomas I. Takei who’s shared passion for fine design & quality construction goes all the way back to their days growing up together in Pasadena, CA. Dale is a graduate of the California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a degree in Business Administration. Thomas earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California.

Dale is a 3rd generation builder with over 30 years of experience as a licensed residential general contractor. Utilizing his years of construction experience and knowledge, Dale directs all field operations by overseeing & supervising daily job site activities. As a result of his direct oversight, construction moves smoother, faster, and with significantly less costly errors or delays.

Thomas is a state licensed Architect with extensive experience in both Architecture and Construction Management for a wide range of residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, & healthcare projects. Thomas provides all construction management and project controls including pre-construction services, estimating, scheduling, and project accounting. Thomas also provides vital construction field drawings and details.

EXPERIENCE

Since 1986, our primary focus has been on the construction and remodeling of residential structures throughout the Northern San Gabriel Valley. We possess extensive experience in new construction, additions, alterations, renovations, and restorations. Our past project experiences include work on structures designed by noted regional Architects Myron Hunt, Wallace Neff, Marston/Van Pelt/Maybury, Greene & Greene, as well as a host of other extremely talented local Architects and Designers. We have the knowledge and experience to analyze, solve, and execute complex, difficult, and challenging projects. We thrive on seamlessly integrating our work with an existing structure as well as producing the exact results desired by our clients.
